Mais uma lista da revista “Billboard” foi apresentada esta semana. De acordo com os leitores da publicação, Madonna ganhou o título de Artista do Ano em 2012. A rainha do pop ainda ficou na primeira posição na preferência do público.

O ano de 2012 já começou intenso para Madonna, com uma incrível e comentada apresentação no Super Bowl, no show do intervalo da final do campeonato de futebol americano, visto por 114 milhões de pessoas.

Depois ela lançou o 12.º segundo disco da carreira, “MDNA”, e saiu em uma turnê mundial para divulgar o trabalho, eleita como a mais lucrativa de 2012. Por isso, os leitores também a colocaram no topo das categorias de melhor turnê, melhor aparição na TV, melhor álbum e melhor briga, com Lady Gaga.

TOUR MAIS LUCRATIVA DE 2012

Embora as paradas pop deste ano tenham sido dominadas por cantores jovens, foram os veteranos – encabeçados por Madonna– que mais faturaram fazendo shows, segundo uma lista divulgada na terça-feira (18) pela Billboard.

A cantora de 54 anos conseguiu uma bilheteria estimada em US$ 228,4 milhões com sua nona turnê mundial, que termina no fim de semana na América do Sul, após mais de 80 apresentações desde maio. Ela superou a rival Lady Gaga, de 26 anos, que ocupou apenas a sexta posição com os US$ 124,9 milhões arrecadados por sua turnê “Born this way ball”.
